Exit 87 BBQ & Catering

The sausage, egg and cheese is amazing. Don't believe the old sign. They open at 0400. The food is outstanding and plenty of truck parking.

After taking the first bite I forgot to post the before picture but here is AFTER!!! OMG 16 years of driving semis I never stopped here, today 4/4/25 I did and boy was this plate AWESOME and the price reasonable, definitely coming again!!! Thanks Ladies

Don't listen to ANY bad reviews about this place. Stop and look at the hundreds of 5 star reviews then decide. I stop here every time I come through just to get a pound of pork to snack on for the next couple days. If you like smoky flavor then this is your stop...Period!!

As someone who works at a BBQ spot in Memphis, I’m always curious (and maybe a little skeptical) when trying other places—but Exit 87 BBQ definitely held its own. We ordered the Super Family Pack and a full rack of ribs, and it was more than enough for our crew. The pulled pork was tender and smoky, the sides were solid (especially the beans), and the ribs had a great bark with just the right amount of smoke. You can tell they take pride in their craft. It’s not easy to impress someone who lives and breathes BBQ, but Exit 87 was well worth the stop.

Got the plate. Pulled pork butt, a nice mix of inside and outside meat. Baked beans cooked with a little pork, v good. Slaw w/mayo v good, slightly sweet. Served with homemade bbq sauce. Tried all three, bought a bottle of spicy to take home. Truck parking, nice lady called me “baby”, and a sculpture out front. Trifecta! ( When you see that pig, mash the brakes! )

This BBQ place is the truth. If you want some amazing food.. especially bologna than this is it. The staff is friendly. Service is fast and they are always busy. Get there early if you want a variety because they sell out of stuff. We always stop if we are able to. Highly recommended.

12 for the plate, look at all these ribs! There are two layers of ribs on my plate. Must be a half pound but feels like almost a whole pound. I ate them so fast, I lost focus. It came with two sides, so I went with coleslaw and baked beans, which also had chucks of pork in it. These ribs appear to be smoked on site, as multiple smokers were in use. The site is located on a large gravel, unpaved lot, with a portable wash sink and Porto potty at the other end of the driveway. Though I had a pleasant conversation with truckers underneath the tin roof, while I ate, I wouldn't consider this dining in. There were around 5 bench tables here and a refrigerator of cold drinks for sale.
